A Little More About Me

My background in illustration goes back to when I was a wee lass and begged my mom to let me have my own copy of Photoshop in 2007. Now, we were on a budget and she of course said, “No, what is that? You spend too much time on the computer.” I found a free program called GIMP (what a throwback right?) and started graphic design when I was 10 doing small projects for my friends and for myself. Using my eye for design and my education in Marketing, I initially made that into a career as a Marketing Designer.

Being completely self-taught, I’m eager to learn more from others on ways to expand upon my passions for art, technology, and consumer psychology. As I advanced further into my career, I began to take on more leadership roles and oversaw the visuals of the majority of my company’s projects and assignments. I’ve created complete product packages including its branding, digital and print assets, and user flows.

Of course, I have a life outside of work right? (right..) When I’m not designing, I’m either rock climbing, playing games, browsing the web, or going on a boba run. I manage my own small business selling my illustrations as stickers and apparel. For all the golfers out there, I’m an ex-student athlete golfer, so if you’re up for a round, let me know!
